CUEVAS ACCOUNT DELETION
This page explains how users of Cuevas, an app by Ecothot LLC, can request deletion of their Cuevas account and associated personal data. This account deletion process applies to Cuevas on both iOS and Android, including users who find this link through the Apple App Store or Google Play store listing.
HOW TO REQUEST ACCOUNT DELETION
To request deletion of your Cuevas account, email:
In your email, please include:
- The email address used for your Cuevas account.
- Your Cuevas handle or username, if you know it.
- A short note saying that you want your Cuevas account deleted.
We may ask you to verify that you own the account before completing the request.
WHAT DATA IS DELETED
After verification, we will delete or de-identify personal data associated with your Cuevas account, including account information, profile details, posts, stories, uploaded photos and videos, voiceovers, comments, mission activity, rewards records, wallet-related account records, and reports associated with your account where deletion is allowed.
WHAT DATA MAY BE KEPT
We may keep limited information when required or permitted for legal, safety, security, fraud prevention, child safety, dispute resolution, backup, tax, accounting, or compliance reasons. For example, we may retain safety reports, moderation records, transaction logs, or records needed to prevent abuse.
RETENTION PERIOD
Account deletion requests are usually processed within 30 days after verification. Backup copies or retained compliance records may remain for a limited additional period where necessary, but they will not be used to provide an active Cuevas account.
If you only want to remove specific content instead of deleting your full account, please say that in your email.
